St. Joseph's Foundation is a voluntary organisation providing
comprehensive services for people with Intellectual Disabilities. The
Foundation presently provides Adult Rehabilitative (RT) Programme,
Adult Day Services, Residential, Respite Care, Elder Care and Home
Support in the North Cork and South West Limerick region. We have Day
Service and or RT Locations in Charleville, Mitchelstown, Mallow,
Dromcollogher, Kilmallock, Newmarket, Bruff and Liskennett. We have
Residential settings in both Co. Cork & Co. Limerick.

ADULT RT / DAY SERVICE LOCATION ? CO-ORDINATOR GRADE V

The successful candidate will be responsible for day to day running of
Rehabilitative Training Programme and Day Service located a community
hub. Location may be open to change as needed by the organisation.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
* A QQI Accredited Diploma/Degree in Applied Social Studies/Social
Care or a qualification in Nursing (RNID) or Social Work (Degree) or a
Degree in Training and Education
* The ability to work on his/her own initiative and supervise
service users/staff in a Day Service/Rehabilitative Programme setting.
* A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in the
Intellectual Disability sector.
* A minimum of 3 years Supervisory or Management experience in the
area of Social Care.
* Strong communication, leadership and influencing skills.
* Train the Trainer Qualification, or it?s equivalent is essential
* Experience in managing a service budget is desirable
